Stop Rewind and Press Play

Children from six different schools learnt new media skills as part of a series of workshops organised by young people’s charity The Mighty Creatives and CfBT Lincolnshire School Improvement Service, in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.

They made short films about the projects their schools have been involved in as part of the Creative Partnerships programme with community artists Carly and Martin. These projects have ranged from primary school children imagining ‘new worlds’ using art, writing, dance and movement to secondary aged pupils turning a teaching space into an innovative and cutting edge 21st Century learning suite.

The films produced by the young people were showcased at an event in Lincoln in October 2009, where teachers and creative practitioners also shared their experiences.
