19 Nov 2010
Area Delivery Organisation: Centre for Urban Education
Rosebridge High School, Wigan has been presented with the Education Business Award for a project that they completed as part of the Creative Partnerships Enquiry School programme.
They were presented with the award for Arts and Crafts on Thursday 11 November 2010 at the Education Business Awards, held at the Emirates Stadium in London.
The award is in recognition of the change created through the Creative Partnerships project last year and the use of resources and working with business.
Stefan Chivers, Subject leader at Rosebridge High School said: "Thank you to the Centre for Urban Education for the support we had last year to make the project happen".
Supported by the British Educational Suppliers Association, The Education Business Awards, now in its fifth year, recognised successful schools and projects that demonstrate how the dedication of teaching and management staff, coupled with sound investment, have delivered better learning environments.
