Teaching Outside the Classroom supports Initial Teacher Training (ITT) providers and settings other than schools, from museums and galleries to theatres, sports and outdoor education centres to develop high quality placements for trainee teachers.

We believe learning outside the classroom can bring to life theoretical concepts, provide experiential learning and give children and young people a sense of community and identity by making meaningful connections.

Through working in partnership, placements in settings other than schools can transform the creative skills of teachers and pupils.
